In the Typografische Systeme catalogue Routine represents – as geometric grotesque – the epitome of modernism.
            The approach and main inspiration of Routine was to apply Le Corbusier's architectural attitude – combining geometric and organic forms – to the typeface. The Unité d'Habitation building in Marseille is a particularly successful example of this combination. The visual tension is created by confronting organically designed letters and their geometric counterparts, which leads to a unique overall loo and allows countless possibilities for the designer – ranging from simple body text up to complex identity projects. For the designer who likes it completely geometric there are the classic shapes provided in the alternate glyphs.
            The nine weights and their corresponding italics are available for print, web and app use and cover more than 200 languages. This project is the result of extended research by Davide Rossetto and Simon Zangger.
